Actor Janesh Silva no more

Actor and singer Janesh Silva passed away yesterday morning (June 10). Janesh had been suffering from cancer for a period of time. He died while he was receiving treatment in the Colombo National Hospital.

 

Janesh was a son of late comedian Freddie Silva. He had acted in twelve films.

 

He made his first debut in the film “Ege Variaya 2” in 1997. He also starred in the films “Sir Last Chance (2009)”, “Pissu Pusoo (2001), “Weda bari Tazan mathisabayata (2008)” and many others. His last appearance was in the film “Super Six” (2012) where he acted as a police man.
