A suspect has escaped when his hand cuffs were removed to be produced before the Magistrate. The incident took place at the Magistrate Court Ampara on Friday. The suspect who escaped from the court premises has been identified as E.P Samantha Bandara from Uhana, Police sources said.

The suspect had obtained money from a person saying that he would send him abroad for employment.
