The new school term for the year 2013 will being today (2), the Ministry of Education said. However, schools which are serving as O/L examination evaluation centres will re-open on 10 January, after the papers are marked.

New school term begins today

The new school term for the year 2013 will being today (2), the Ministry of Education said. However, schools which are serving as O/L examination evaluation centres will re-open on 10 January, after the papers are marked.

The Education Ministry stated the first phase of the evaluation activities began last Sunday (30) and will continue up to next Tuesday (8).

Following the completion of evaluation activities, 78 schools which are being used as evaluation centres will begin their first term next week. The schools which will be closed due to evaluations are:
