India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp expanded its network into the international market. The newly incorporated brand entity launched 14 of its two-wheeler models in Sri Lanka on 3 September at the Water’s Edge.
The company went solo after breaking off with erstwhile joint venture with Honda, has now taken initiatives to further its growth by appointing ABANS Group as its only distributor in Sri Lanka. The company will be selling the products through a channel of 50 outlets in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lankan icon, cricketer Kumar Sangakkara introduced Hero MotoCorp ‘s 125cc motorcycle ‘Glamour’, while Miss Sri Lanka, Stephanie Siriwardhana unveiled the Scooty ‘Pleasure’ for women.
The company has introduced 14 models and their range includes the company’s motorcycles Deluxe Super Splendor, Glamour, Passion Pro, Karizma ZMR, Splendor NXG, Hunk, Dawn, Pro, Xtreme and Achiever, and the Scooty Pleasure.
