Kandy Sports Club who had no club games this week-end made maximum use by playing against the visiting Indian Rugby Football team at Nittawela Rugby Stadium yesterday. In the end the defending League and Knock out Champions got the better of the visiting team by 25 Points (1 Goal, 3 Tries, 1 Penalty) to 24 Points (2 Goals, 2 Tries)

For Kandy Sc tries were scored by full back Saliya Kumara, centre Fazil Marija, winger Mohamed Jabbar and fly half Tharindu Chanaka. Penalty was put over by scrum half Roshan Weeraratne who was successful in one of the try conversions as well.

Kandy will travel down to Colombo next week-end where they will encounter Sri Lankan Air Force. There after they will host CR & FC and Havies at Nittawela. In their last league game they will travel down to Welisara to meet the Sailors. So far Kandy SC, Navy SC and Havelocks SC remain unbeaten in the current Dialog inter Club "A" League Tournament 2012.
