Dialog powers International Schools Football Championship

The Dialog Inter-International Schools Football Championship 2012 is to be conducted for the 11th successive year from September 20 to 30.

This championship is conducted by Royal Institute International in association with the Football Federation of Sri Lanka.

The tournament has attracted 12 International Schools that will be divided into two groups.

Colombo International School is the defending champions. They beat Gateway International in the final last year witnessed by a large gathering of spectators.

There will be 34 matches in all. The group champions and runners up will play ‘cross’ in the semi-finals. There are 30 matches in the preliminary round on league basis and the semis and finals will be on knock-out basis.

The Dialog Axiata PLC partnership has enhanced the Brand image of the tournament and has created a good exposure for the participating schools and players too.
