NDB recently introduced 'Business Class', a solution for businesses that provides access to a range of financial solutions through a current account facility, including tariffs, extended banking hours at select branches and consolidated e-statements, stated a press release.

NDB Vice President Personal Banking & Branch Network Management Sanjaya Perera said, "NDB has been in the forefront of leveraging large scale development projects across the nation and still encourages businesses to forge ahead. We have devised this service for sole proprietorships, partnerships, private limited companies and existing NDB Current Account holders. Customers can avail this service with an initial deposit of Rs 500,000 or by maintaining a monthly average balance of LKR 500,000 for the past 3 months. We encourage Sri Lankans to make use of market opportunities to expand, strengthen or even begin their own businesses. NDB is ready to lend you a hand and we hope to see customers making the most of this service."

With NDB Business Class, customers will also be able to access Import LC with pre-approved limits, bank guarantees with pre-approved limits, a dedicated officer from NDB Trade Finance and concessionary tariffs. The proposition also facilitates discounts up to 25% on pay orders, draft issuance and manual salary transfers, external standing order fees waived off and more.

NDB aims to make the services more convenient through digital platforms, such as NDB mobile banking app, online banking and speed banking. Further benefits such as special leasing and supply chain financing are bundled with the Business Class facility, concluded the release.
