Emphatic win for CR

CR & FC beat Police Sports Club by 53 points to 13 in their inter club rugby match played at Longdon Place yesterday.
CR & FC scored eight tries, five conversions and a drop goal and Police Sports Club scored one try, one conversion and two penalties.
The hosts scored the first try within ten minutes through their winger Kavindu Perera and the conversion done by fly half Tharinda Ratwatte.

Ratwatte made a drop goal as well and CR were soon in the lead. They made it even tougher for their opponents later in the first half scoring a try through winger Sashan Mohamed for CR to take a comprehensive lead.
Kavindu Perera again scored a try in that half and later on G. Dilshan and Gayan Jayasekara too scored for CR. Police were able to score only two penalties in the first half through fly half Sandesh Jayawickrama.
In the second half also CR dominated the game and scored tries at will. It was hooker Kokila Samandapperuma who scored first and the game was a goner for the Police.

Police scored one try later on through Iroshan Silva and the conversion was done by Sandesh Jayawickrama.
CR's Kavindu Perera had a great game scoring two tries which made it easy for his team. Tharinda Ratwatte also was in great form and they will be happy with the result.
