Four injured in Grandpass shooting

Four persons were injured in a shooting incident at Grandpass yesterday (2), Police said. They said that the incident had occurred down Nagalagam Street, Grandpass, adjacent to the Sebastian Canal, late yesterday evening. At the time of going to press, the attackers had not been identified.

The victims, aged between 25 and 30 years, are residents of the area. The four individuals were rushed to the Colombo National Hospital (CNH) with grievous injuries. Deputy Director of the Hospital, Dr. Samindi Samarakoon, told Ceylon Today that all four were in a critical condition at the time of admission and were rushed in for surgery.
