Muthuthanthri plays for Auckland on weekend

SL Rugby Sevens skipper Sudarshan Muthuthanthri will be the first from Sri Lanka to play top level provincial rugby and he will be playing for Auckland sevens team lead by Rocky Khan at the National Sevens tournament in Rotorua today.

The former Thomian and Havies skipper Muthuthanthri has been a phenomenal captain for Sri Lanka will play shoulder to shoulder with New Zealand stars.

These Auckland men are bolstered by All Blacks Sevens star Salesi Rayasi who is coming off an impressive showing particularly during the latest round in the World Sevens Series.

Coached by former national sevens representatives Edwin Cocker and Tutu Tairea will see the side head into the tournament with high hopes.
