Youth cap Ashen Bandara scores century

Sri Lanka youth cap Ashen Bandara of St. Aloysius College scored a century against D.S. Senanayake College on the first day in their 'Singer Cup' Under-19 Schools Cricket tournament fixture (for R.I.T. Alles memorial Trophy) played at the Galle International Cricket Stadium yesterday. Ashen scored 101 runs in 107 balls with 11 boundaries and a six. Loyola College Negombo beat St. Patrick's College Jaffna by 8 wickets at MB grounds Godigamuwa.

Hirusha Sandeepa of St. John's Nugegoda scored an unbeaten 109 runs against Ananda Shasthralaya Matugama.
