Dharmasena wins wheelchair singles

D.S.R. Dharmasena of Sri Lanka emerged champion in the men's singles event at the Negombo Open ITF tennis wheelchair tournament held in Negombo from 9 to 12 February.

Dharmasena beat Sang Ho OH of Korea in the final in three sets, 6/3, 3/6, 6/1 to clinch the  winning prize.

Dharmasena beat fellow countryman Gamini Dissanayake in straight sets in the semi-final.

The Korean pair of Ha-Gel Lee and Sang-Ho OH won the doubles event beating Firdaus Ibrahim and Yushazwan Yusuf of Malaysia in the final in straight sets.

D.S.R. Dharmasena (SRI) beat Sang-Ho OH (KOR) 6-3, 3-6, 6-1.
Men's doubles:
Semi-final:
Firdaus Ibrahim and Yushazwan Yusuf (MAS) beat David Dalmasso (FRA) and K.D.M. Dharmaratne (SRI) 1-6, 6-4, [10-4]. Ha-Gel Lee (KOR) and Sang-Ho OH (KOR) beat N.R.L. Jayasundara and K.M. Karunaratne (SRI) 6-1, 7-6.
Final:
Ha-Gel Lee and Sang-Ho OH (KOR) beat Firdaus Ibrahim and Yushazwan Yusuf (MAS) 6-2, 6-0.
